Where's the Shampoo Bar?
The question has come in, "Where's that shampoo bar you've been talking about?" The short answer is, "It's curing in my closet!"
Like all of our products, we test them on friends and family. I use them and make sure that they meet the Redhead Standard...which is pretty brutal and demanding. Also, because shampoo bars are tricky, in light of all that we've become accustomed to in our plastic-loving, PH-balanced demanding, and conditioning preferences, I've been incredibly conservative in my bid to bring forward these shampoo bars.
If you've done any research on all-natural shampoo bars you know that this shampoo regimen requires some acclimation. (I used our Do Good shampoo bars for almost four weeks before my hair and scalp adjusted to the rich oils.) Individuals with short, close-to-the-head hair cuts, usually have little or no need for acclimation, but those of us with curls, long hair, thin hair or course, kinky hair need a wee bit more time with these bars.
That said, we anticipate that shampoo bars and the hair rinses will be ready for you in June. So stay tuned. The summer is actually a great time to try shampoo bars as so many of us are wearing baseball caps and other stay-out-of-the-sun hats. And if we're having some adjustment issues...a cap comes in handy!
(I have to confess that I'm over-the-moon with our shampoo bars, especially the herbal one with chamomile and lemongrass, and the peppermint-lavender one that I've tested and use REGULARLY! My hair is super duper soft, shiny and as thick as ever...this redhead loves them now. Will never go back to the $25/bottle salon shampoo!)
I'll post a whole video and blog about shampoo bars, hair rinses and how to use them. So don't worry. We've got you covered!
