Swedish Dish Cloths
These Swedish dish cloths made by Cose Nuove and designed by Mark Bretheim are our favorite dish cloths for the kitchen...really any job that requires scrubbing. These super durable cloths are made of 70% cellulose and 30% cotton. To use them all you do is wet them, use your Clean Plate Club dish bar soap and wash. They only need a quick rinse and are hung to dry to use them again and again. We like them because they are practically "streak free"; they absorb 15 times their weight in water; they are whimsical; and they are incredibly sanitary--much better than sponges as they dry more quickly.
When they need to be cleaned for more use, simply put them in the washing machine. Because these little dreams are made of natural fibers they can be composted when you think their usefulness has ended. (To compost, cut them up in pieces to make the composting more efficient.)
So give up those sponges that are an environmental nightmare and use these fun and fabulous dish cloths for all your cleaning needs! You're going to love them as much as we do. Truly, truly!
And don't forget your friends and family. They make great gifts!
